 The Club

Blackheath Ladies Hockey Club was formed in 1982 and now runs four Saturday sides in addition to midweek training and festival teams.

New members are always welcome.

Our Official Club house (used jointly with the Men’s Hockey Club and the Catford Cricket Club) is in Ruben’s Street, Catford. There are three grass pitches which are used mainly by the men’s Veteran team; unfortunately there is no astroturf pitch at the club house site. However, the welcoming bar is always open and used by players and locals alike.

Our adopted Club house is a pub in the heart of Blackheath, The Princess of Wales, and due to it’s proximity to the home astro pitch is the venue of choice for after-game refreshment.

This is a friendly club and we hold regular socials through the year. We also host a popular mixed Festival every August.
