Blackheath Hockey is a fun, friendly and thriving sports club. Our successful ladies section now field four teams for matches on Saturdays. We play at various levels; the ladies 1XI team are in the East of England League, and the 2nd, 3rd and 4th eleven teams play in divisions throughout the Kent League.
We are always keen to welcome new players, young and old, so please get in touch.
The Men’s Hockey Club is the oldest hockey club in world and they field several teams each week. We come together for after-match socials and regular joint club events, including our popular mixed Festival every August.
All the ladies teams train on Monday evenings from 8pm to 9.30pm at Eltham College. The entrance to the astro is on Marvels Lane. You will see a sign for a Green Chain Walk and there is a small turning into the car park (parking is FREE).
Our main home-ground astroturf pitches are at Blackheath High School or Coldharbour Leisure Centre. Saturdays post-game we can usually be found in our adopted Club-house, the Princess of Wales pub in Blackheath. For more information please email Amanda at laytona@gmail.com

| Yes it's that time of year again when we host our annual hockey festival at out Rubens Street club house. It is a great weekend and gives us all a chance to catch up with team mates, club members, other players and hopefully a chance to enjoy the sunshine! If any Blackheath players want to play please let me or Karen know so we can organise teams and if any one wants to be a captain even better! Camping is available but please let us know so we can make sure we have enough room for all. If you are thinking about joining Blackheath this is a great chance to meet everyone so please do come along. We look forward to seeing you there! Trails - To start the season off we will be having trails on the 5th of September at the Blackheath High School astro. | |
